hi guys, wife has a peugeot 307cc lovely car but has an issue with the roof.it suddenly has started letting in water above the drivers door so you get a good soaking had been ok even during good rain showers but now it just lets in all the time .tried cleaning the seals and put silicon spray over them as advised by the garage but to no avail .is there anywhere in the wirral or liverpool who specialise in this sort of work cheers paul

Are you sure the windows are operating OK and going to their correct position? Seals don't usually fail on these.

has it got a sun roof?? You say the problem is with the roof. Sun roof drains are situated at each corner and can get blocked with debris.when the channel gets full the overflow would run down the head lining and exit at the door welt giving the impression that is where the problem is.

307cc is a cabriolet Dusty.

There's a sensor that drops the window a touch for it to open when the roof is up. My guess is this sensor isn't working and going all the way up to make a good seal.

The only cabriolet I had was called a pram.WD40 in the runners, the censors are a bit sensitive like me.You must have a few bob to know these things, Gibbo!

Get them to do a BSI reset and then manually reset the windows.
