Well if John likes the car, knows the car and is experienced with that type of car, why change... why bother with the hassle of not knowing or not knowing another car so well, when you can buy a car you know and love...

But you do have a valid point, but its like most Mini owners, they will sell their Mini mainly to increase performance and upgrade etc. John has upgraded from a hi-torque 1.4 to a 1.6 which he says he can feel the difference between the two, and upgrade, sorry for dragging the point! Hopefully no harm done!

Theres nothing wrong with the corsa/escort/106 and all the other YOUNG people cars when ur YOUNG. But its when u get to the age me and john are at now when u look into getting a proper car, talking saloons/coupes here with 1.8+ engines.

The reason i got another escort after spanking my first one was because insurance was gonna be a killer on the "proper car" i wanted (volvo)

now however,now ive got NCB again im after a proper car (S13,E36 2.0+,Volvo S40/V70,shit like that) and i just thort john would be doing the same now.

Fair play john u know the corsa well and will only learn more as time goes on and u tfind out about the different engines etc..i know a lot about most model escorts now but i really want to change to something bigger,faster and more complicated,and ideally RightWheelDrive
