Welcome to the Spooky Merseyside Young Walkers 20's-30's+ website

We are a friendly and sociable group based in Liverpool with planned walks and socials with over 250 members in and around Merseyside. The group is aimed at people in their 20’s, 30’s and the young at heart. We have members as far as North Wales, Southport, and Manchester and welcome anyone to our group.

If you enjoy:
being outdoors and walking in the countryside
socialising and making new friends
being fit and healthy
this group will be ideal for you.

You don’t need to be mega fit, own specialist kit or have knowledge of maps or compasses. It does help with certain walks, but they are all lead by experienced walkers so you can enjoy your time with the group. Suitable, well-fitting footwear and appropriate clothes for raininy days and strenuous walks are advisable. This will help towards making the experience of your walk more comfortable. The wide range of walks on offer allows anyone to enjoy our walks and tackle some of the strenuous walks as you will quickly build up your fitness levels with regular walking.

Our walks take us through North Wales, Lake District, Peak District, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cheshire and surrounding counties in and around Merseyside. We go further afield for some of our planned weekends away which include walks and social activities throughout. So come on, kick off your slippers and jump into your boots for a great day out.

Our regular socials include meals, partying, meeting up at different organised events and taking part in a wide range of activities around Merseyside. We hold monthly social nights (normally 1st Thursday of the month) at The Attic Pub on Parr Street. So come along, meet the group and find out about us.

Granny likes walking but is just a bit over 30.

So are many of the walkers Fish,tell Granny they will help with her zimmer but no oxygen cylinders allowed

It is amazing what grannies do ...no need for zimmer frames lol.
