Knackwurst on a sausage bun with sauerkraut and dijon

Screaming Swede:

Take all the arm work out of peeling and chopping a swede. Chop the top and bottom off.

Microwave for ten minutes. Turn it around and repeat....


So soft and fluffy....good job tomorrows swede is large. I have ate a lot of it!

PS it is called 'screaming swede' because of the noises it emitts! Like whistles n shrieks.....chill..microwave is not about to blow up!

Roadkill pheasant roasted in a peanut butter, honey, cider vinegar and soy sauce marinade. accompanied with sweet corn, carrots, runner beans and onions--all home grown

Had a go at doing duck a l'orange and it worked a treat, delish and well recommended. Gresham duck breast from Tesco was very nice indeed, and I hate Tesco.

The penultimate one before our traditional 'No December Roast Dinners' Like to save ourselves for The Big One on the 25th.

I cooked up a storm tonight,Gammon steaks from M&S "no less,served with Aunt Bessie`s taters an Yorkshires peas&gravy all done in 40 minutes.
