Hello I have a few more pics of my car which I have had from standard for 2 weeks with my new buckets and also new speedlines!!!! and also new exhaust which is a sraight through remis pipe (loud as fook)! Getting it lowered 60mm this week aswell. I'll do before and after pics ASAP. Let me know what you think with my new mods? TA!

Like these wheels,explains why they are so popular with corsas. However,not keen on the rear lights or the 16v badges (imo they look tacky)

Pick up a BMC CDA if you can stretch to one. Was probably one of the best mods I ever did to mine. Made a fantastic noise at high revs, and combined with a Janspeed de-cat and exhaust got me up to 125bhp.

wasn't the 1.6 corsa restricted to 105 bhp as they were quicker than the Astra gsi.

yep, originally the engine was developed by lotus, and when it was given to vauxhall it was producing 150bhp, but vauxhall had just reliased the astra gsi which had the redtop 150bhp engine in, so vauxhall restricted the 1.6 by tuning it down

is your 1.4 lotus tuned lawton or just vauxhall?

Reminds me of the old 'Redtops had 200bhp, but they had to change the manifold to a restrictive one because it was too fast'.

Lotus did the inlet I think?

yer mate me and lawton did them! just put the sponge and the leather over the corsa back frames! was a bitch but its worth it coz i love it now! hate them fookin dotty corsa pattterns!!! just needs christaning! ta jay

I've done that before, getting the edges over the metal is an arse.
