been to automotion today to start the mods, its goin in on monday for its colour coding, and im going to de-badge it tomorrow

then hopefully get my lowering springs before xmas and slam it down

ive also looked at a gti 180 exhaust, its not a performace box and it comes standard on the 180, so it will still be very quiet

Lol, I think you did right getting the 206. How anyone could want a common as muck Asta SRi as opposed to a considerably rare 206 GTI, I dunno.

nope mate, im staying away from the bodykits this time, just gona get me colour coding done, it looks pretty nice as it is anyway

speaking of fitting 206 180 bits, whats the difference between the 137 and 180 engines? how much would it cost to get ur engine to 180 brake? is it just a different head and ECU map? or are the pistons mega high compression jobbies?

I should have though uprated valves might feature too?

i dnt really no scoop, im goin to research it, i wouldnt mind getting a bit more power out of mine, lol

by "different head" i meant,bigger port,bigger valves,better springs,hotter cams (maybe even some kind of VVT) but i dont know nowt about pugs and citroens so for all i know it could be an entirely different engine with the block being externally and internally different,but who knows eh?????

i don't think the vvt is on a pug, maybe just a different manifold setup, different map, revised airbox, raised rev limit, etc

Specification's of both engines are here:

206GTi 180 - its actually 174bhp, the french take the 177ps rating and round it up to 180.

206GTi 134

It doesnt seem to list much difference though, different fuel system and compression ratio etc... Either way though its certainly the same engine.

got the car back today from automotion, they did a great job, looks alot better

only got one pic so far as it was getting dark, i also removed the badges, looks smooth
