The engine is running, however some small problems have developed as expected though..... The electronic fuel pump primes up nicely when the ignition is switched on but thats it, no more fuel supply therefore the engine will start but only run for approx 20 secs. To eliminate this problem we have tempararily connected the fuel pipes to the manual fuel pump and this has worked for now. The fuel tank will probably have to be changed with a carburettor fuel tank and fuel sender without the electronic fuel pump. The coolant system is working and the coolant fan is operating correctly, however the hot engine coolant isnt travelling through the heater matrix and coolant pipes to the carburettor to operate the interior heaters and the automatic choke. This means the interior heater isnt working and the choke is staying ON and running very rich and fast idle. We need to connect the coolant pipes differently to allow a better coolant flow to these pipes, easier said than done though..... Appart from that the project is nearly finished.

Idle problem now sorted Booked in next week for a new cam belt, water pump & clutch Already noticed the power difference lol 0-60 is down to 11.08 and I'm still getting used to the new set up. Should be able to get that time down when the new clutch, etc are on next week
