Yes ! These vehicles are made by VW Mexico / Brazil. Both are full Volkswagen Plants. All cars produced are built to current VW Quality. The Classic Beetle and Type 2 are only two models of a large selection of vehicles built by these plants and they are both one of the largest and up to date factories in the world !!

I went to a VW-fest a few months ago, and they had a couple of these new-old beetles and Campvans. They have to comply to modern safety regulations, so the bodywork is sovered in all this sh*te, but they do look very tidy.
VW have actually made an updated version of the Campavan.

That's just the auction price mate, it's actually £16999 inc vat. The seller doesn't say these are built in Mexico, look at the questions at the bottom.

Jimbo, the quote I have quoted is from the website that the seller has linked to, it is his website and company is called "Beetles (UK) Ltd"
