The Heart of Egremont Community & Heritage Centre has moved from Brighton Street to The old mission building on Guildford Street (off union street)Egremont, Wallasey, CH44 0BR. We are looking for volunteers to help weather it is for an hour a week or more. We have plenty of areas of interest for volunteers to help in. Admin Community Café & Deputy Co-ordinator Social Media Fundraising Day to Day Website design Help with Special Events and Community Events plus many more We have rooms for hire different sizes weather for a club/business or other. We have clubs/classes already using the centre. We also have a big hall with a stage if anyone want to book this. We hold monthly Craft Fairs in the hall. If anyone is interested in volunteering. We have an volunteers meeting tomorrow night at the centre starting at 6.30pm don't worry if you are going to be late, we will be there until 8.30pm. Or you can call the centre on 639 4441 and speak to Gary - Volunteer Co-ordinator you can Pm me on here or you can email Gary @ [email protected]If you would like to hire a room or hall call Jess at the Centre 639 4441. Hope to see you there tomorrow night.

I volunteer here and it is a great community centre.They do lots of activities for adults and children.
Also do lunch on a Wednesday for over 50's for £2.50.
Feel free to drop in at any time.

The Friends of Egremont. Egremont Festival 2015 will be held on Sunday 9th August 2015, on the Egremont Prom and Shore. Last year's Festival was a massive success, with over 3,000 visitors to the prom on the day. This year's event promises to be even bigger, and we need teams of volunteers to help organise publicity, stalls, entertainment, fundraising, and stewarding on the day.
