have 2 disagree!!! novas can be made 2 look really!!! there are sum sheds out there with scumbag scallys in em but when i went to the p.v.s show last year there were sum mint novas that even if u hate them u wuld ssay they looked nice!!! ive had 1 and would defo buy 1 again!!!

i hate people who drive nova's who think they're amazin with their Peco big bore exhaust on their 1 litre merit! full on modded nova's CAN look nice however i think that its a waste of the 10k that you would have to spend on it. in my opinion corsa's arent much better either. but thats my opinion.

I like the car itself its the boyracers who bomb them around who give the car a bad reputation.

They are actually an ok car to drive I think... A good car for first time buyer's as so are the Corsa's but I reckon they are starting to get a bad rep too!

they're good for a first car cos they're cheap, reliable and the engines are basic so you can do your own work on them even if you're a beginner, at the end of the day i reckon in a few years the scooby and evos will be boy racer cars and everyone will be slagging them off, the nova has had its day but it ain't that bad

I used to think that they look alright once they were modded, but ill agree that its the scallies that give them the bad rep...

I like the Nova. As said by other people, they are cheap, mostly reliable and very easy to mod. I don't think they are the scally car of choice anymore. So many have been written off and/or scrapped by now that there honestly aren't many left on the roads. The ones that are left tend to be well looked after. Lots have the 2 litre XE engines and some even the turbo'd LET engines.

There were some nice examples at the Performance Vaux Show on Sunday.

There are far more scallys driving round in Saxo's and Corsa's these days, with their stupid exhausts and burberry...
