Hi all,
I'm after a car battery for a HONDA CR-V I-CTDI SPORT ESTATE 2204cc (2005) DIESEL, can anyone recommend the best place to get one in Merseyside please?
Cheers
Pete

Hi Pete, have you tried LVW Automotive (Senars) in Birkenhead? I've always found them helpful and reasonable. Although not necessarily cheaper than the web I prefer buying some things face to face.

Cheapest I find is Eurocarparts but with their fluctuating offers and sale prices you have to catch them at the right moment so do a price check first.
For my petrol cars I normally get tested second hand batteries from Wirral Spares but I would be less likely to do that with my diesel.

+1 to Euro. Their Lion budget brand are OK but I'd probably go for an Exide or Bosch for about £70.
Might be worth shopping around though as they're usually on sale for around £50, so they might have put the price up a bit for a forthcoming sale.
Best person to ask would be Turnip.
