Can't blame them for crap pubs in ropey areas closing down because people would rather stay in and pay a fifth of the price!
People still do go out and spend money but not in "old grandad" pubs!

Interestingly the first video shows the Wellington in Liscard @ 6.49, this never actually closed down, it was shut for renovation and reopened as Dukes, still a pub but now with accommodation, sadly most of the other pubs shown are now not only closed down but demolished.
