Really puzzled!
10 months into having my car on finance, finance company fitted a tracker so if payments aren't made it apparently shuts car off. Love to know how?
Anyway, went to carcraft today as I'm wanting an upgrade, they would settle the finance. However upon doing a HPI check, it came back as clear of finance and nothing shows on my credit report.
Your thoughts please..

Wow.
Ive not heard of a device that can disable a car remotely. I could see a debt collector using a phob to disable the car if its parked up. They couldn't deactivate your car unless you are safe and stationery.
HPI check.
Computer says No !
If I was you get a print out and use the situation to your advantage. Failing that call the finance company.
How mad !!

Sales man suggested taking it as PX but I wouldn't want bailiffs at my door. But suppose I could argue with the HPI paper and credit report.
Stuck, dont no where to go from here
