In the last hour I have had two text messages saying if you are unable to call right now.please visit key2cash7.co.uk/4014 to move forward with your loan.txt STOP 8228 TO END sender+447584739129
I have not or would not apply for any loans unless with my bank or building society so does anyone know if this is a scam to get me to ring this number and should I contact Police

The website is a loan group, as you probably guessed.
The phone number (don't ask) isn't registered to them but to a Rebecca Saunders, so it might be some sort of affiliate referral scheme sending the message to everyone in her directory (unless she's doing it herself).
I'd just ignore it, the same way as I do the "We have £3250 waiting for you after your accident...." type messages.
