12 mid day today police were diverting drivers from willowbank rd down clarence rd and stopping entering greenbank rd at the junction of clarence. When we drove along borough road had a look up north rd, lots of police and a couple yellow police vans. Anyone any idea what was going on? We wondered if it was a funeral due at st josephs for someone well known, anyone know anything? Thanks

Well done to Merseyside Police for the full honours bestowed on Jim. He was a dedicated, loyal Police Officer and family man. He was taken too early. RIP Jim.
