yep the dry cleaners oppositte weatherspoons/papa johns/soft-rock cafe do alterations, there's also an alterations shop on mill lane a couple down from Chris Kelly's office - but they are only open a couple of days a week i think, the dry cleaners i mentioned is your best bet.
alternatively you could ask Calico Laine (behind iceland by the pet shop oppositte tesco) where they would recommend...
