Anybody see this about 6ish tonight, flew quite low over New Brighton then dipped its wings as it headed out into the bay?

Hi m8 was it definitely a sentinel ?? Did you know on monday there were reports of a ufo over merseyside check out radio city on facebook.

Nice, shame I missed it.
Unusual aircraft recently.
There was around 6 of what looked like (to my untrained eye) black hawk helicopters over seacombe a couple of weeks ago, awesome sight.
Airshow maybe?

The 7 USAF Blackhawks were heading over to Ireleand from Germany for the G8! i believe they stopped at Liverpool for refueling!

Ah, of course the G8.
They were pretty low, they had that low thumping rotor sound like a chinook.
A nice sight anyway.

Indeed a lovely sound! There is a video of the presidents VC-25 (747-200B)(Air Force One) on youtube landing @ Aldergrove airport, now that must have been a sight to see!
