We do not allow the selling of New Items. This is to prevent commercial selling and so we can abide by UK Law. We are not a Shop nor are we e-bay we are a forum listing second hand items only. If you have a item unused its still second hand and should be listed as Second hand. At best "As New" with in the contents of your description. You can not list items as Brand New as that can only happen with a receipt.

Finno, save yourself some hassle... list it as used but make everyone what it is.
If you have got it from Apple then it is not NEW, it is second hand and therefore fine to sell.
God knows why people get so uppity.

Unless you would like to highlight in bold where he states in his post item is brand new.

Unopened unused which is as good as brand new I have read the rules, and know where does it state you can not sell unused items or items still sealed in box. You are just not allowed to state NEW, or Brand New, and as far as op's post goes he has done neither.

Thanks, i am well aware of the rules, which is why i haven't stated that it is a new iphone. A 'new' iphone would cost £529 and i am not asking that.
It is however unused and unopened.
Is anyone interested? i am open to sensible offers
