Drontal is very effective but FYI it can cause Transient Ataxia (temporarily walking like drunk, staggering about) in cats. Our cat is one that had that reaction. It wears off pretty quickly (within a few hours) and there are no apparent after-effects - but it's a bit alarming and I don't know we'd ever want to use it again...
