never use an engine flush, they do more harm than good.

if anything stick a litre of diesel oil in for a hundred miles or so, other than that best thing is just get it nice and hot before you drop the oil.

We usually put a little bit of petrol in the engine to clean it out to get the crap out before putting the new oil in.

Just stick a hose in there with a good flow of water, once the water begins to flow clear (From the exit spout of the rad, or from the rad hose, if that's where you've disconnected it), fill it up again with water, drain one more time, then put your desired Anti freeze in

Disaster, there is X4 8mm bolts holding thermostat on to engine, i got 3 out no problem, the last one the socket is just slipping as the head of bolt is rounded, I managed to hammer a 7mm socket on to it, but that just slips of aswell. There is no way to get a spanner on, and I have tried a 6 sided socket but that just slips aswell.

Any bright ideas how i will get it out.

It's always that last one frown Can't you get mole grips on it? try heating it up first, Failing that cut it off and re-drill it out.

not possable, can not get anything near it, except a socket. Might just go to robbing kwikfit, and ask them, to get it out, only thing is, banks are shut today, so unable to get a bank loan to pay them, i'll flipping well need one for them.

Try using a torx socket. The smallest you can hammer on. Worked for me in the past.
