The Halfway House in Prenton prior to being refurbished and rebuilt. Caption states how the pub gets its name from being half way between Woodchurch and Woodside. Notice the sign on the side of the building which reads "Storeton road", just under the two S's in "Yates's". This photograph is taken on Woodchurch Rd facing down towards Woodchurch. Photo circa 1889
