hi my car needs an mot but has not tax or mot on it and need to find someone with a truck that can tow it ? can anyone help me please

I thought you could legally drive a car without tax/mot to the MOT station, as long as its; a, The most direct route. b, Its a prebooked MOT c, Its a close MOT station. d, Your insurance is covered. e, Its to the MOT station only, no detours/repairs/general use/etc. ? You can drive your car without MOT to a garage as long as you have booked it in for its MOT. I don't think the same rules apply if it has not Tax...But i maybe wrong.
