When we were lads, we used to spend all day in our summer holidays walking around the edge of the lake in the north end of Birkenhead with our fishing nets, filling our mam's empty jam jars with tiddlers. I'd love to see any old pics some of you might have of the lake. We had now't but they were Happy days.

i used to do that with my son too but unfortunately i dont have any pics but i must agree happy memories and it cost nothing
