HELP my iphone seems to have met its maker, screen will no longer light up, still working tho if you tilt it towards light you can see the screens, and also the ringer on buton has become possessed please help!!!!

As Ste says, try a reset first, see if that clears it, if not then it'll just be a backlight gone on the LCD (most likely), which iPhone is it, normally a simple repair.
