I have just finished an autobiography of Michael Bowery a former Special Forces Officer(spy) in South African Police, called 'Shred when Read' ISBN 9780620492300, and a novel also by his colleague in British South African Police, Glen Macaskill's 'King's Gold'ISBN 0-620-31002-2. Both are in Humanities Section of British Library and well worth reading for those interested in Pre-Mugabe Police work and Police work in nascent ANC days. The local library can order them on loan but it is about £2.20 each and they can only be read in the local library and not taken out.
They are available to buy via the internet via 'Bushveld Books'-www.booksofzimbabwe.com/
Now got two Wilbur Smith books as also about Africa
My daughter brought me a Daily Mail yesterday as I have been ill. Don't like it, thought plenty of reading for 90p and the weeks TV Guide very detailed.
