true true, am going to print that bit off about the neons too, the police office said the same to my fella,
the police have there own rules and own mind when it comes to this kind of things.

o thats another thing, the police said to us that the red neons looked like brake lights, thats y we cant have them, so wot do blue, yellow, green,. pink neons look like ??????????????????????????????

I have now been pulled twice scooby in the last week, if there really is no law why are they doing this, im now driving around without my neons on because im sick of gettin stopped and explaing the neon tube aint visible poo...
they have stipulated to me each time,, the legalities of lights are....

ive been pulled loads of times but the funny thing is they never actually do anything to u apart from make u produce your documents which makes u think they can't do u 4 it

Yes i agree with Scooby, They can not do nothing for just the emmissions ( SO HIDE THE TUBES, AN YOUR OK ). Stand your ground as there is no law on a coloured lamp underneath your car. if there was you would fail your M.O.T , Always note there collar number aswell for harssment & false prosectution.

Okay, i treat people with the respect they deserve, no more, no less......
If a copper stops me and is pleasant and polite with me i would possibly reason with him/her and end up having a laugh with him/her....
However if a copper stops me and thinks that they are "God" in discuise, Well, Thats different all together. Yes i would stand my ground 100% without doubt, he could even take me to the station and attempt to place me in custody, it really wouldnt bother me at all. Its a matter of princable. I am not proud to admit that i have been put in custody several times for arguing the point with a police officer who thought they were god and even got involved in a fight with a police officer many many moons ago simply to proove my point. Dont get me the wrong way, i wouldnt do that nowaday's as i have matured slightly.
In answer to your question, Yes i would say that to a copper without doubt if they were funny with me.......

Thanks guys, since i got my neons fitted last week ive been told by various people that theyre illegal. Although about 4 times ive been out cruisin round and passed a copper. Yet each time they kinda look as if they aint sure whether they should pull me or not.
Up to now i aint been pulled, but all of the above is some very helpful info incase i do, nice one.

i dont blame you scobby, all coppers these days think they are 'god' they need to know where they stand lol. i agree wiv u 100%, cant wait till the copper pulls my fella for his neons then i can say my point. thanx scobby for the advice xkx
