I've just got in to the habit of eating fish on a Friday, no religious compulsion to do so, just like it. Like the Jock tatties and mince too. Basically I'll scoff anything, as you may have noticed. Always loved me grub!

I hope you all ate breakfast. There was an article in yesterday's Daily Mail stating a major investigation, published in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, by Harvard School of Public Medicine in USA, involving 30,000 men, showed eating breakfast can reduce the risk of Type 2 diabetes.
It shows that men who are not overweight and who may have a reasonably healthy diet, could still be more than 20% at risk if they miss breakfast, than those who eat breakfast.
Breakfast has been shown to reduce levels of low-densitity lipo-protein, the 'bad'cholesterol responsible for clogging up arteries around the heart.
Research is needed to see if women are affected in the same way
