Please would anyone know, did boys from the school go to the Indefatigable for training?

It has to be possible, do you mean the Indifatagable's that where moored in the Mersey and were training ships/schools for the orphans of seafarers or T S Indifatagable which is Anglesey.
The Albert memorial school did teach seafaring amongst other things.

HMS Idifatigable is a tri service adventure training site in anglesey, or there was 2 indefatigles, 2 namesakes made after each other that were used as training ships, T.S was the name giverne to the 2nd one used as a training shipped moored arround new ferry area.... i think

Thanks for the replies.
My interest stems from my Grandads early days. He was supposed to have been put on the Indefatigable Training ship, moored in the Mersey.
This would have been a long time ago, he was born in 1893.
He was separated from his Mother, she was unmarried when he was born.
His maternal family came from Wilton Street in Birkenhead.
I'm wondering if he could have been put into the school and then put on the training ship when he was older.
