This short memoir of early Birkenhead was written in 1901 by Harriet Salt, the daughter of wealthy shipowner Joseph Harrison. Harrison moved his family to Birkenhead in the early 1820s, when it was still an undeveloped rural backwater.

Nice read, its like reading about some strange place with hints of a place you know like the back of your hand, very strange, still very enjoyable thanks Yoller.
