They took it away last year to stop people threatening bad feedback.
It's a TERRIBLE idea, it doesn't work and it makes the feedback system useless, all you can do is leave Positive, with the word SCAM or FAKE repeated filling the entire feedback, or, to wait until they try and sell something, buy it, THEN you can leave bad feedback (only BUYERS) can.

Our charges were £560 last month, blooming ridiculous.
I also think it's a bad idea removing the bad feedback option.
eBay need to sort it out.

Email I sent to ebay last night:
item number: ************ I refunded buyer, and asked buyer to agree to cancel transaction, he refused. Yet ebay are still going to charge me. I have had nothing but problems with ebay, I will pay the £0.37p I owe, I will not pay listing fees etc etc for item that have not sold. I will never use ebay again your rules are stupid, you allways side with the buyers, and do nothing to help any one. So close my account or suspend it as YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING A SINGLE PENNY FROM ME, ALL YOUR EMAILS YOU SEND TO ME I WILL NOT GET AS I AM ABOUT TO SHUT MY EMAIL ACCOUNT DOWN.
Email I received this morning from ebay:
Thank you for your email with regard to paying your listing fees.
I understand your frustration about this. Since the buyer refused to agree with the cancel transaction case you open in the Resolution Centre,we will credit you with your Final Value fee on your item which is TomTom Go Live 1005 Europe for a one time excemption. You can confirm this by viewing your credits on your Seller account. If you have any questions about your credits, you can get back to us by replying to this email.
I hope I've explained everything clearly. If you need any more information please get in touch.

You can speak to an operator live on ebay, who are always more than happy to sort you out with any problems you receive. The problem is, unless you know about this service then people may feel pushed to contact ebay with an email like the one above, which I think is going a bit too far. I listed a vehicle not too long ago, and the winning bidder failed to get into contact with me after a week of trying. I relisted the item (paying to list it again) and 2nd time round it went successfully. However, was still charged listing costs for the original ad, as well as the selling fees of what I "supposedly" earned. Simply spoke to someone online, and they rectified the problem instantaneously. Cancelled the fees etc. All was good The problem I do have with ebay though, is the monthly seller charges. Regardless of whether or not youve sold anything for that month. Also the fact that there is a charge for using Paypal, when Im pretty sure ebay own the company anyway??
