I suppose its where you live realy and the size of the antenna as to what else you receive,I am only getting shut to make more room in the shack for my other radio's They are becomming collectable now,and one just went on Ebay for £63.with no accessories.
Cool mate, Airports an taxi's an stuff never really interested me, used to listen to some chatty private Hackney taxi driver in Liverpool at weekends,he had a few runners and one guy even attacked him an robbed him when he was talking on his Cb in his taxi but dnt know what happened to him, he was on 145.750. Ya best bet was getting a little magmount taxi ariel and placing it onto an old tin quality street box, ya would of been amazed at some of the distances it could pick up. Do ya know if Birkenhead/Liverpool town security and the local hospital securities all went Digital too? used to be gud at weekends listening to them after the police went digital, but cant even get them anymore.
