Some years ago I used to work in Bootle and cycled to work, via the Ferry. Before that, while working in Liverpool City centre, I'd walk to and from the Ferry.
I had to give up using the Prom. to get home because of scally school kids throwing stones at me [walking or cycling] and take my chances on the main road.
I often wonder, when I hear of a child being run over, if it's one of them - who the planet would be better off without.

when i got my son from university acadamey high school (old park high) in birkenhead i got hit on my face by kids throwing stones! luckily i wasnt marked just shocked! im glad your daughter was not hurt, my eldest son rides a pushbike from prenton to bidston every work day

Pfff I agree with all that Elizabeth has said, kill the fooking scrotes, nothing will ever be done to them by the authorities anyhow!! Glad your daughters ok, i live 5 mins round the corner, might be taking the bike out a bit more now, and ive got a hoodie too just to even it up for them!!! I think the world is getting worse, not just Britain. I blame all the effing 'do-gooders' of the world social workers etc who have made it impossible for these yobs to be chastised and punished accordingly. I think we should have annually a "punch-a-chav day" where it's legal and actively encouraged by the law to take up a big stick and beat the sh*t out of them

You've used this situation as an opportunity to rant about some other issues you've got with life in general, of which there's obviously plenty.
