Hi all I have just got an iPad and the photo quality is terrible, the front camera is not as bad but the rear is terrible, is it meant to be like that? I will upload some pics to show just how bad it is, wanted a second opinion before I go back to apple

it wasnt actually low light really, i will take one outdoors in the morning and see what its like but its totally terrible even indoors in the brightest room

Was just thinkin, surely with the iphone 4 camera having remarkable quality i`m pretty sure the ipad 2 quality should match it at least?

apparently the front camera on ipad is 0.3mega pixels an the rear just under 1mega pixel, not sure how true that is , if so its terrible

You realise their focusing is done via available light sources, right? TV in a dark room = shit pics.

i know i did read that article however when googling photos took from ipad 2 mine seem to be considerably worse
