Just seen at least 7 ambulances ( inciedent responce, coast guard etc) any one knows whats going on? Hope every one is ok.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses

Bolton Road East both ways closed due to building fire at a factory at B5136 New Chester Road / A41 New Ferry By-Pass / Bolton Road. There will be no access to the Bromborough docks whilst fire services deal with the incident. Traffic coping well on the bypass. Source

Houses around Bolton Road East have been evacuated and there is still a poilce cordon in place. An industrial fire had broken out at the Land and Marine site off Dock Road North. Might be a few nastys in that yard.
Any ideas what they have in there yard????

a friend who works in arrowe park said she has been but on major incident alert, as there is a tanker that might go up

The road is now open. the road was closed due to a fire at land and marrines and then the worry a cylinder would explode due to the heat.
So glad its over and I'm now back home!!
