Anybody experienced problems with the above channels on freeview recently?
All was well until about 1 week ago when I was prompted to retune - C4 has disappeared from its normal spot to 802 and the picture is unwatchable - have checked connections etc and all appears well. ITV2 and Film4 are also affected to a lesser extent
Checked signal strength and it's about 4/10
I live in CH66 area

Are you connecting to the Welsh transmitter in error ?
The channels for the Welsh are much lower down the signal band, I forget where so this is guesswork, but I think that you have to retune again but start much higher up (so you're only storing channels for (example) 50-100 not 32-50 if that sort of makes sense.
It does in my head but then again I've had a constant headache since Sunday so a lot of things are just taken as read so I don't have to think too hard.

I recall doing an update and having same problems, I was told to do the full new channel search in clear sky days as clouds may have meant I recieved a signal from further away. Believe it or not it worked.

Thanks for the replies
I have performed countless auto retunes with the same results
Don't know about the Welsh transmitter just do the auto tune - no idea how to start at a number eg 50-100??

To avoid the Welsh transmitter, remove the aerial from the Freeview box or TV and start a full retune. As the scan gets to CH 50 replace the aerial. In this way the tuner will only find and save the English channels ie 50 - 100
