shove loads of sponge inside the top of the bootlid, i used to have the boot release wire rattling around in there when i turned the base up and put a load of sponge in there to stop it shaking, try that....fool!

Is it a vibration rattle from the music, or one from the driving of the car.
Could it not be boot rattling in catch, rear seats etc, something thats latched down, but has enough play to move. I would assume they were not set off by general road driving as the sub would be kicking out more Hz than your normal road use.
Does it make the noise with boot closed boot open, seats removed / folded down etc. You must have a area of where it is..ie rear left hand side etc. Get a mate in the boot, reduce the treble so you dont pop his ear drums..and off ya go..
Dont worry about the maccy d's, ill have a bottle of coke instead...
