I believe that a body has been found on the shore near Rock ferry, got a text of me parents who live in new ferry and the shore area is crawling with police.

Think it's the police presence on the shore, and chnese whispers. Sorry people I was as guilty too and should have said rumours instead.

I dont know the truth in this, but apparently a body has been washed up in woodside!! My source says she got this information off a lifeguard

BODY RECOVERED FROM THE RIVER
MERSEY
Published September 11, 2011 | By Editor
Merseyside Police is investigating following
the discovery of a body in the River Mersey
earlier today.
Officers were called by the Coastguard just
after 10am following reports that the body
had been seen near to the Wirral coastline
by Birkenhead. It was recovered from the
water and brought to Liverpool, where a
Home Office post mortem will take place
tomorrow.
While the body is yet to be identified it is
thought to be that of a man in his late
teens or early 20s.
An investigation is underway to establish
the identify of the man and the
circumstances surrounding his death.
