That is the same building I think although it looks a bit different as a garage. The only time I ever went in there was over 20 years ago at a private function.
This wirral pubs section is great. I spent hours the other day looking through and reminiscing about all those pubs that have mostly all gone now.

As Derek said, there's a picture on here somewhere but neither of us can find it. It looked much the same, just didn't have the single story extension and the doorway.
