did anyone see anything? I wasn't sure if it was overcast last night... The last couple of previous years, the perseids shower has been amazing. But they were on clear moonless nights. Ooh will there be more tonight? We got told about this at the planetarium but I totally forgot about it and I've lost the info sheet with all the stuff on it, the kids wanted to watch!

yeah, you can normally see them for about 3 consecutive nights. Best advice I can give is to try and get away for nearby light pollutions (street lights etc), let your eyes adjust to the dark (don't look diectly at any lights for about 20-30mins) and the later you look, the better really. Yeah couldn't see anything last night, I was here on my own so didn't fancy going to the park at 12am  might see if Mum wants to go tonight though!
