Hi all Can any1 give me a clue on how to get my GPS to work as I have tried to use Facebook places and when I click check in I get this message Your device does not support location services. To use Facebook Places, a device with built-in location services is required I believe my phone should have this as its a curve 8520 but when I go to options/advance options/GPS to change date source it says none with no option to change Many thanks  PS sorry if I have posted in the wrong place

8520 does not have GPS.
That option will remain unavailable and is there in case you ever connect something with GPS to it, i.e. a Bluetooth GPS dongle to use sat nav.

Which BB do you have Sarah?
Your BB could have been picking up a location, very crudely, using any wifi signal?
Unless it is a model which supports GPS i.e. one of the newer ones or the Curve 8900 for example?

That's one of the newer ones with GPS so you will have location services. I haven't had a BB as a personal phone and not as a work one for a few years so I'm not really au fait with them at all.
