As the Pinzgauer is now 38 years old and in better nick than me, I've been waiting for a decent replacement. According to the specs, about 20mpg urban and 14mpg offroad !
dont fancy filling a 24 gallon tank to often though.
Could be quite amusing in the supermarket car park.

Hi pp. I couldn't find the price of the beast. Maybe it's best not to know. It's probably a bit more than what's fallen down the back of the sofa. (my price range at the moment!)
At 20mpg it's more "economical" (ha.ha.ha.ha.)than the Pinz (16mpg). Obviously the way to go then eh ?

Stick with your beautiful boat pp. I can't think of a more stress-free life ! I'm not "really" envious. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
On the stress-free sketch, this afternoon I'm throwing all my walking gear, grub and alch's into the Pinz. Off in the morning for a couple of days at the bothy in the hills. Got a bit of cementing and window frame painting to do there as well. Overall reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel relaxin'. Wouldn't mind swopping the boat for the bothy for a weekend though. (Hint that is as subtle as an air-raid eh ??) ha.ha. Are you firing up the Kubota compression-ignition device soon ?
There's a big(ish) burn to cross in the Pinz en route to the bothy, so I'm hoping for a couple of dry days!
