The Council has posted the details of closures of M53 junction 1 phased from 31st May until "early 2012" on it's website: http://www.wirral.gov.uk/news/19-05...rk-m53-bidston-moss-viaduct-improvementsUnlike previous weekend or overnight closures, this will see the J1 flyover and Wallasey Docks Link road closed for weeks at a time (though not necessarily at the same time and never in opposite directions).

The Council has posted the details of closures of M53 junction 1 phased from 31st May until "early 2012" That flyover has been a bloody disaster. They've been titting about with it for years, why not just blow the bloody thing up, rebuild and be done?

In hindsight they should've just had the motorway on the ground and a road across with sliproads, but I probably don't know that much about it.
