anyone know of a decent mexican restaurant? can be upto about 20ish miles away. want somewhere that does proper mexican food as we've been lost since el macho closed

only decent mexican food in Wirral is made by my wife, no good restaurants here

Fair does, in that case try Savina's on Duke Street
been there a couple of times, bloody nice food and great service but it's just not the same as el macho  Que Pasa cantina in Lark Lane,Liverpool used to be pretty good. thought it had closed? used to go there years ago.

Theres a new mexican restaurant opened by Tranmere Rovers called Sombreros Mexican Bar and Grill, they do takeaway and delivery as well. They have the chef from El Machos in Liverpool so the food is AMAZING. www.sombreromexican.co.uk0151 608 1185

the one in liverpool across from the philharmonic pub is excellent , you have to have a pint in the pub first though .
