I worked as a 'civilian officer' (office worker) for a while in Birkenhead, and found that's the best way of getting in. The girl I worked with went into forensics shortly after I think. Really good place to work.

I -being nosy- would like to try the 'merseyside police insight scheme' aka 'be a copper for a day'  Details http://www.merseyside.police.ukI plan to do this-deffo. Be a good experience-humbling too, i reckon.

Presumably. Its these -'her' details+ the web address printed on a leaflet that i picked up about a month ago!! Luks interesting altho tbh i just wrote the link before checking it myself and so i would agree the relevent section does not appear readilly appparant (which is why i added her number)  Maybe leaflets in copshops are as outdated as mags in the drs? Wudnt know-i frequent neither much.
