They did it over here, thousands of applicants, list closed early. Only a few posts going. Good luck on that one.

I worked as a 'civilian officer' (office worker) for a while in Birkenhead, and found that's the best way of getting in. The girl I worked with went into forensics shortly after I think. Really good place to work.
