Right, there is a forest type thing in bromborough by the retail park, anyone know what it is? And if there's a walk to be had there possibly?

It's called Dibbinsdale Country Park, look at the Ghost Hunters thread.

Some of the route is a true cutting through solid sandstone, this is a fair length but less than half of the route, it also passes two pill boxes, but one is a bit awkward to get to.

If you keep your eyes peeled, there are lots of railway "bits" hidden around.

Its not as wide as the Haymarket but its a fair width most of the way.

There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. David Osland 2025

Sounds good. Like the Wirral way but a bit less well known and less tamed. I will be there tomorrow with my usual Sunday cloudy head.
