Just wondering if anyone out there would pay to have there gardens seen to?

For instance have the front & back garden Strimmed around the edges and mowed (petrol mower & Strimmer for your convenience) for as little as £5? [Linked Image]

Basically if you cant be bothered or Cant do it yourself (garden too steep or a disability etc ) then have someone turn up after a Phone call/Text/Email on a "as and when" its needed basis.

I know there is a lot of large firms out there who specialize in Landscaping but this would just be maintenance and clean up for a fraction of the cost.

This could also include Hedge trimming "as and when" needed.

So just make the call, arrange a time and bobs your uncle.

No Contract Just cash after completion smile

Good idea. The 'as and when' is good, people wont feel pressured or obligated. I'd charge more for big gardens tho, say £7. Good luck.

Thanks, I'm just putting out the feelers at the mo to see if its worth it at all and to get peoples thoughts and recommendations.

if you or anyone you know would be interested then let them know that someone can do it for them.

you wouldn't even need to be at home when its done too. (if paid via PayPal or similar). Just come home from work and its already done for you to enjoy smile

I'm not after making money TBH as long as I can get a good client base and do a good job then I'm happy. even tho a few quid and the end of the day would make me happy.

Don't forget to factor in your fuel costs as you travel round as well as the fuel in the mower smile

This would be for anyone local (within a mile of me) and a little more for being further/big garden/hedging etc, it depends what you want but it will still be cheap. all clipping's will go in the house holders brown bin unless they don't have one then a small charge for that.

most little business make a small loss at first.

I have already had a PM here for work every couple of weeks and possibly for their parents too so its a start.

One of the first rules in business, is speculate to accumulate. Loss-leaders and break-even promotions can do wonders for raising ones profile and getting a foot in the industry.

Great idea, no pressure

Have you thought of perhaps a leaflet drop (or door knock)when you are out doing a job. Just saying as the wheelie bin guy got quite a few on his books while washing the bins, his helper went knocking on doors and done more while in the area.
Anyhow whats the next step, do I need a quote off you, are you available tomorrow?
