Woman dies from her injuries following accident near Birkenhead pedestrian crossingA 44-YEAR-OLD woman has died from her injuries following a collision with a car on Tuesday night.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which took place on Hoylake Road in Birkenhead, near to the pedestrian crossing in Gautby Road, at 10.45pm.The woman was taken to Arrowe Park hospital, but later died. The driver of the Renault Megane that was involved in the incident is helping police with their enquiries. Witnesses are asked to call 0151 777 5771 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. THE GLOBE

this was outside my house. the women has now sadly passed away she was a freind of my mates mum. and its just been confirmed she has died in the last half hour
