OMG thats awful, what an idiot though.......hmm I'll clean it with a rag  I remember when a former member of cruiewirral was arsing around with his altenator and managed to loose the tip of his finger inbetween the pulley and the belt (Not mentioning any names STED if you still read this from time to time  )

i did simialr i lost my nail only thoughits still wonky now

I did the same, lost an inch off my finger.  steer clear of alternators from now on
