I agree. its growing on me more and more since I bought it. I managed to get the average up to 59.4mpg on the m56 today, only because I was taking my time so as to not get back to the office too early.

I was looking on the VW website today and the Bluemotoin version seems to get an extra 10 mpg in all 3 cycles! Amazing!

Isuzu Trooper 3.0 TD - Between 26 and 32mpg depending on the journeys undertaken. Only done 3 seperate readings/calculations after filling up though. (26, 30 and 32)

Had the 5 Series for over a year now... BMW 530d MSport Touring (Manual - makes a difference, the manual is even a tax group lower than the same car with an auto box  ) Motorway 50mpg Town 40mpg Towing 35-38mpg  Generally averages around 45mpg

In my new 1.5 DCI grand scenic it registering as;
Average: 47mpg
Motorway: 62mpg

Astra - 50 miles to £10 town driving, about 65 motorway. Think that's 30mpg average.

Just worked out, thrown £85 into the 620 this month, done 710 miles, so about 52mpg! Not bad considering most of that has been local/A-road driving and the weight of the car.
After a trip to Alton a few months back, I get about 70mpg on the motoway or thereabouts.

I'm getting 32mpg from a Volvo S60, not bad for a 2.0 litre turbo

In my Passat 2.0tdi (170ps version) on my daily motorway run to Warrington I am getting 50mpg when pressing on, 56mpg ish being sensible and 64mpg when hyper mileing it in lane 1 all the way. Not bad for something that on paper is supposed to do 47mpg combined.

Does it sound right that I get 30mpg out of my ford mondeo 1.8 (53 reg). Always thought it was proper fuel hungry!!

Oh dear Sanchez  i'm begining to doubt your a petrol head at all now hehehe Make Model MPG BMW 3 Series E46 328 Ci Coupé 2002 31.0 Link here bud, http://www.car-emissions.com/cars/model/Bmw/page:1/sort:make/direction:asc Lol would be if was stock mate but as mentioned in past probably something to do with the Double Vanos and timing being done as part of the remap i had done a while ago its over 220bhp rather than standard 193 also on stiffer suspension (Shnizers) its also tiptronic so wastes alot of fuel in auto idle but you knew that didn't you lid hehe
